Workshop

Getting Started with Digital Accessibility in My Courses

November 7, 2025 | 9:00-11:00 AM

In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn simple best practices for digital accessibility, and strategies to “find & fix” digital accessibility barriers in course materials using the new Canvas tool, UDoIT.  You will engage in hands-on activities to apply these practices and skills directly to your syllabus and course materials. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have started transforming your Canvas course and have begun shaping a step-by-step plan for making digital accessibility a reality in your teaching context by the April 2026 target date. This session is ideal for all who teach a course: faculty, instructors, and graduate teaching assistants. This is a single session offered on multiple dates.

Audience: CGAS Faculty, Instructors, Graduate Students, Postdocs who teach
