New Cabell 298 Suite
The Language Commons is a large, flexible space equipped with resources and technologies that support language learning and intercultural communication. The LC can be reserved for language and culture events, including class sessions.
The Language Lab
New Cabell 299 A
The Language Lab facilitates collaborative, interactive learning activities for UVA language courses. This 24-computer room can be reserved for class activities.
Language Activity Classrooms

LDT has helped to equip several classroom spaces to support the unique needs of world language courses. Five rooms in New Cabell and Wilson are equipped with small white boards, moveable chairs, and additional monitors to facilitate an Active Learning model. These rooms also offer a lower occupancy to facilitate movement in the classroom. Contact Hope to request use of a Language Activity Classroom.
