Using iRubric in the Spanish Class
Spanish instructors, and in general all the language instructors at University of Virginia, have a powerful educational tool available through the UVaCollab Gradebook, the iRubric, which has not been used in the Spanish, Italian and Portuguese department until now. Our proposal focuses in the implementing of this digital tool in all the Spanish courses in the 1000 and 2000 levels in order to avoid the wasting of resources, and on the conversion of the so-called 'traditional' rubrics into iRubrics, and evaluating the results of the pilot program we implemented during this semester.
