AI Tools for Teaching & Learning: Hands-On Exploration
October 25, 2023 | 3:00-4:15 PMWhat can (and can’t) I do with AI? Which tools can best support my needs, and how might I access them? How can I use AI tools to support my own work and my students’ learning?
Join A&S Learning Design & Technology instructional designers to explore the latest generative AI tools. We will provide assistance in accessing tools and offer hands-on practice time with ChatGPT4 and other text and image-generating AI platforms. We will also note prompt-writing considerations and facilitate discussion around AI applications in teaching and learning.
All instructors are welcome; no prior experience using AI is necessary. You are encouraged to bring your own device; there will be a limited number of devices with AI tool access available.
Space is limited to 20 participants. Please register below to attend.
This workshop is offered jointly by A&S Learning Design & Technology and the Center for Teaching Excellence. Email Jason Bennett with questions.
Location: New Cabell Hall 298 (Language Commons)
