For the Mathematics Department's redesigned calculus classes to be successful, students must come to class prepared.  I propose to increase the quality and effectiveness of class-prep assignments for Calculus I (Math 1310) as well as to create similarly high-quality and effective assignments for A Survey of Calculus I (Math 1210/1190).
