Gail Hunger
Bio
Gail is an instructional designer at A&S Learning Design & Technology. She facilitates course design programs with faculty across disciplines to construct thoughtful connections between academic technologies, scholarship, and innovation in teaching and learning. The design framework she applies supports intentionality, authenticity, and engagement. Her teaching and research focus on design-based research, including collaborative team-based design and authentic learning.
Gail also assists faculty in creating active learning environments for student engagement. She has extensive experience leading synergistic projects incorporating technology-enhanced learning for course redesign in STEM fields at national and international higher education institutions. Gail has an EdD from Learning Sciences and Technologies, majoring in instructional design and technology, and an MA in mathematics education.
